Thomas, WV

Thomas, WV is a relic from the past as you can see by the multiple layers covering this house. Almost a ghost town now but in the early 1900's it was a lumbering center. It was said that after the lumbermen left there wasn't enough standing timber left to make a match stick. Today the area has recovered and is one of the most beautiful places in WV.

Cool image! I love the up-close look at the layers. Nice that the region has recovered from over-lumbering...

Julie I wanted to get back to you on your 5 favorites. My favorite was the wig shot I really loved the lighting in that! Are you a professional photographer or serious amateur?

Hi Bob, I'm definitely just an amateur but trying to soak up everything I can about the craft of photography. Thanks for the comment. I loved the way the lighting turned out on that wig shot too!
