More from Canaan Mt.

I love to catch the light coming through the leaves as they change color.
Because it is so moist on Canaan Mt. it provides a perfect environment for Soapwort Gentian.

Both of these are lovely - such pretty color and texture! Good to see some of the macro world at Canaan Valley along with your fantastic landscapes...

Thank you for checking in with me. I've been in some contant pain and it just kills what ever creative ability I have. It's difficult to sit let alone to process some images. Mentally I'm doing well but with pain there's no place to hide because it's there all the time. I want to post but the pain just kind of ruins everything. I hope you and your family are doing well. It's very nice of you to ask about me it means alot. Has Jeff decided on a date for Harpers Ferry? My wife and I went there for the ''Election of 1860'' . It was quite a hoot. I've got the pics but haven't been able to post them.
